Under the direction of the Internet Services Supervisor, the Internet Technician isresponsible for installing, upgrading, removing, troubleshooting, and repairing internet equipment, as well as participating in tower maintenance and supporting external network and server operations to ensure reliable EIDNet services for residential and business customers throughout the District. This role works closely with other Internet Technicians to provide backup Help Desk and office support, and requires availability for “on call” service outside regular business hours during designated periods.

The Eastern Irrigation District (EID), Brooks, Alberta, seeks a seasonal District 12 North Rolling Hills Water Operator to join our water delivery team. This position may have potential to transition into a full-time position.
The Water Operator, reporting to the Superintendent, works alongside 11 other divisional team members. This position is responsible for receiving and responding to water delivery and cancellation orders from farmers and other water users, monitoring and maintenance of water delivery and drainage infrastructure, and working as part of a construction crew during the non-irrigation season. The Water Operator will be required to be on call 24/7 for the water season May-October.
